Visiting the Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The March 2007 Tour took us to the country of Cambodia. We spent 10 days traversing the cities, towns and backroads. See more pictures below.

International Study Tour

Each year the students at AIA have an opportunity to study about and travel to countries around the world. Past trips have included Italy (2001), China (2002 & 2009), Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania (2003 & 2008), Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar (Burma) (2004), Ireland (2005), Russia (2006), and Cambodia (2007). The 2010 tour will focus on Spain.

Students gain an understanding and appreciation of the rich history and contributions of ancient civilizations as well as modern lifestyles of the present generation. They are encouraged to develop an awareness of the various standards of living in all areas of the world. They will witness firsthand, not only contemporary thriving communities, but also those that are especially impoverished. We hope to acquaint them with the human element of foreign cultures. We teach and foster their individual cultivation of a spirit of fellowship, brotherhood, and responsibility for humanity.
