Community Service
The Christian Community Service Program is a part of our Bible Class. All students will be involved in community service days throughout the year. During this time students will assist those in need, and share in the responsibility of being a Good Citizen. Past Outreach projects have included singing at nursing homes, feeding the hungry at St. Vincent DePaul, clean up and painting at nearby Indian Reservations, community clean-up days, and reading to hospitalized children.
Every student in the 4th – 8th grade will have a prayer partner from our local community. The students will contact their prayer partner on a weekly basis through letter writing and/or phone calls. These relationships encourage the social growth and graces of the youth and have been enjoyed by the prayer partners for years. We end the school year with a banquet for them prepared by our students.
